Tournament Director's Welcome Welcome to our brand new website describing the 2008 version of the “Annual ACC vs. SEC Alumni Golf Tournament to benefit CASA, Inc. of Davidson County”. This charity event began in 2007 and represents the teamwork demonstrated by many Nashville area ACC and SEC alumni club presidents and their representatives. Most local alumni clubs representing ACC and SEC colleges and universities participated in the Inaugural Event last year. We are proud to say that although this novel idea was conceived, planned and hosted in only 8 weeks, over $13,000.00 was donated to Nashville Habitat for Humanity. On Tuesday, February, 19th, 2008, 16 of the 24 alumni clubs met to interview three worthy organizations in order to select the recipient of the 2008 proceeds. Although it was a very difficult decision, the clear winner was CASA, Inc. of Davidson County. Our presidents and representatives look forward to working with this awesome organization that exists to help abused and neglected children. Individual and teams who are alumni of any ACC or SEC school are invited to contact their local club leader to sign up to play in this years' Event which will be held at the Hermitage Golf Club, playing the General's Retreat course on Monday, October 13th (Columbus Day). Lunch will be served prior to the early afternoon shot-gun start. Team awards and individual prizes will be handed out immediately following the Event.
